“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” – Oscar Wilde In this series we shine a light on artists expressing their individuality, documenting what they love, working hard on their craft, and sharing it with the world. Jay French is a Christchurch-based adventure photographer who specialises in mountainsides, gnarly bike trails and "before dawn to after sunset". He believes he's always been into photography, one way or another, but in the beginning didn't think of it as anything more than an appreciation for To View More >>

“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” – Oscar Wilde In this series we shine a light on artists expressing their individuality, documenting what they love, working hard on their craft, and sharing it with the world. We spoke to Auckland-based Marie Valencia about what makes her art, self described as dreamy and curated, special to her. So, How did you get started in photography? It sort of naturally progressed — I studied and did all kinds of art when I was younger, eventually ending up as a photographer and graphic designer. My travels To View More >>

Our friends in the northern hemisphere may find it hard to imagine the festive season without snow, hot cocoa, and a warm fireplace, but in Auckland, New Zealand, where we're based, Christmas day is more likely to be beach adventures and a barbeque. We spoke to Kate Roberge about what makes a New Zealand summer, and our unique festive season, so special. And what does she do? She sends us photos with snow in them! Do you have a favourite or secret go-to spot in NZ? Jacks Point definitely. It's right outside of Queenstown, on the east side of the lake. There are about To View More >>

Here's what people like most about Workspace: When they make a sale there's nothing to do. No need to liaise with the buyer, collect the money, order the product or deliver it. All you have to do is read our notification email. :) People quite like the 10th of the month too, when they get another email to say the money has hit their Paypal account. But occasionally money gets returned to us because someone hasn't "accepted" the payment. If you don't claim your money you'll get an email from Paypal like the one in the graphic below. Normally all you have to do is click the "Claim Your Money Now" To View More >>

Australian couple Kailin and Sia made the trip from Adelaide to Sydney for their engagement shoot. Their photographer Leah Kua who is based in Sydney, decided to take them to Wattamolla Beach for this gorgeous photo-shoot. Kailin and Sia are glowing! They look relaxed and like they're really enjoying being photographed together. They are using this 10x7 Duo as a guest book at their wedding - what a lovely idea! Their album starts with a Futura translucent title page. What Leah loves most about this location is the number of hidden spots that usually have no one around - perfect To View More >>

From our little corner of the world, here's wishing all you Americans and Canadians a happy thanksgiving. Sadly we don't celebrate the day in New Zealand, so we spent it at work - it's Friday morning here now - but we wish we could join you. It's a reminder to pause and give thanks for our blessings, so here's a huge heartfelt thank you to ALL our friends, readers, likers and commenters, album customers, Workspace users and PJ geeks, brides and grooms, mums and dads, suppliers and partners - and of course all our bindery, lab, IT, design and support staff, past and present - in fact all who make To View More >>

This year's Bragging Rights promo went way beyond our expectations! We were overwhelmed by the amazing response from hundreds of photographers, and are truly grateful to everyone who participated. Thank you very much from everyone at Queensberry. The brief was for "images with something special to say about love and laughter, a vibrant culture, a dramatic environment or a compelling story". We also needed to represent the various regions and markets we serve as widely as possible, and we weren't looking just for weddings! Over the next few weeks, in no particular order, we'd like to introduce To View More >>
